Community Based Programs as a Lever to Community Empowerment

This book gives an example of an indigenous community based grassroots organization aiming to contribute to the process of social change based on human rights and the culture of its target population’s. The Trust has been operating on the ground for over 40 years to empower the Palestinian people in the Holy Land to get out of the mud of the socio-economical and political situation that limits the individuals'' normal development. The leading principle is to contribute to the Palestinian cultural capital and cultural memory that are the cornerstones in giving young children and their families hope for the future.
