The book talks about a millionaire businessman Mohan Kumar who is separated recently from his wife who had been nagging him for past 13 years. So Kumars journey of easy sex began with most amazing women he came across. Sarojini Bharadwaj enters his life as a shy and timid university professor from a small town in Haryana who surprises Kumar with her sexual energy. Molly Gomes a lively masseuse from Goa and then Susanthika Goonatilleke a tiny Sri Lankan seductress. Kumar after the end of each fling and before the beginning of the next finds comfort in an experienced charm of his obedient maid Dhanno. He is troubled by the American Jessica Browne to whom he submitted his virginity and Yasmeem Wanchoo an older Pakistani woman. In this book the famous writer Kushwant Singh writes about the passion love and sex. The story circles around the present day ethics with a lesson on AIDS. About the Author Khushwant Singh was an Indian novelist lawyer journalist and politician. Born and raised in Hadali Punjab he studied law at St. Stephen's College Delhi and King's College London. He started his career as a professional lawyer in 1938. He worked in the Department of Mass Communications of UNESCO in Paris. In 1956 he got into editorial services and started editing a newspaper called Yojana which was an Indian government journal. He was an editor of the weekly magazine The Illustrated Weekly from 1969-1978. He was also an editor of The Hindustan Times from 1980-1983. As an author Singh wrote many important and famous books like Train to Pakistan (1956) Delhi A Novel (1990) The Company of Women (1999) Truth Love and a Little Malice (2002) The Good the Bad and the Ridiculous (2013) etc. His book A History of the Sikhs is regarded as the most authoritative work on the Sikh history. Khushwant Singh was awarded Padma Bhushan in1974 (he returned it in 1984 in protest against the Operation Blue Star) Punjab Rattan Award (2006) Padma Vibhushan (2007) Sahitya academy fellowship award (2010) Tata Literature Live! Award (2013) Fellowship of Kings College London (2014). About the Author Khushwant Singh is Indias best known writer and columnist. He has been founder editor of Yojana and editor of the Illustrated Weekly of India the National Herald and the Hindustan Times. He is the author of classics such as Train to Pakistan I Shall Not Hear the Nightingale and Delhi. His latest novel The Sunset Club written when he was 95 was published by Penguin Books in 2010. His nonfiction includes the classic two volume A History of the Sikhs a number of translations and works on Sikh religion and culture Delhi nature current affairs and Urdu poetry. His autobiography Truth Love and a Little Malice was published by Penguin Books in 2002.
