This is an experimental study and the methodology applied aims to subject paracetamol to stress tests where its degradation will be analysed using Analytical Layer Chromatography (ADC) after the thermal acidic basic oxidative and photolytic stress conditions to which it will be exposed. Before carrying out the degradation tests it was necessary to carry out a solubility test on paracetamol where it was noted that it solubilised better in methanol.
