Comparative Study of Measuring Students Metacognitive Skills

The knowledge of lesson planning is one of the nascent fields which is less developed in comparison with other scientific fields and needs research in the direction of growth and development; Although many efforts have been made to develop this field of knowledge. Among these efforts is Harvey's work which was proposed in the study background of the curriculum.This approach is based on the study of Cognitive processes. This means that in the curriculum attention should be paid to Cognitive and practical skills so that students can use them in their intellectual and scientific fields. According to this point of view the growth and development of cognitive processes is one of the main tasks of the school. Therefore the functions of the school (metacognition) and the provision of Learning the way of learning include helping students with the necessary opportunities to strengthen the set of students' intellectual abilities. Some of the most important goals of the school from this point of view are the development of human characteristics such as lifelong learning skills and interests which the school should focus on cultivating.
