Comparing the performance of NoSQL databases with YCSB

This book focuses on the evolution of NoSQL databases designed to address the limitations of traditional relational systems. Thanks to their flexibility and ability to handle massive and heterogeneous data these databases are used in areas such as IoT Big Data and cloud computing.The aim of this study is to compare the performance of three popular NoSQL databases: MongoDB Couchbase and RavenDB. These solutions were evaluated using the YCSB (Yahoo! Cloud Serving Benchmark) framework on criteria such as response time latency throughput and scalability under different loads.The ultimate goal is to provide decision-makers and architects with clear information to choose the NoSQL solution best suited to their needs. This work helps with the adoption of NoSQL databases in projects requiring modern and efficient data management.
