Compendium of Stellar Astrophysics Research Projects in NASRDA-CBSS

About The Book

Here we have reported on the pointed Hard X-ray observations of Magnetic Cataclysmic Variables Ex Hya using Suzaku satellite. Using spectral technique analyses of some astrophysical data from satellite in the Extreme Ultraviolet region on accretion disk of some cataclysmic variable were carried out. A number of strong emission lines in 14 CVs were discovered. We also report on the hard x-ray and optical activity of Ex Hydrae and V1223 Sgr. These objects have recently been proposed to be among the dominant X-ray source population detected near the Galactic centre and they also contribute significantly to X-ray diffuse Galactic ridge emission. We have attempted using the neutron production-to-decay process to explain the formation of jets in some radio sources with gaps at their centers. We have used a simple model of mass loss rate relating to the plasma in the disk over an accreting area to establish the mass ejection distribution efficiency. We have also discussed the basic features of the disk which include outbursts flares and jets. A 9h of observation through high-speed B photometry was carried out on HD 101065 using the 0.5-m telescope of the S.A Astronomical Observatory.
