Compliance Huawei Meng Wanzhou Case - Indictment

<p>In the book "Luxembourg Wealth Management – Job Contract"  CEO Mohamed Hosen Mazars Luxembourg was cited for saying: "Nothing ever happens. Perhaps we have to pay some money!".</p><p>In our first volume the Compliance case against Huawei and its CEO Meng Wanchou was discussed based on media reporting.</p><p>In this second volume the reader can familiarise himself with the indictment.</p><p>Bear in mind however that the fundamental rule is that anyone is presumed innocent until found guilty by a court of law according to Fifth Amendment of the United States Constitution.</p><p>Similar rules formally govern most European countries.</p><p>The next step is for a hearing whether the Canadian courts acceptthere is probable cause that CFO Meng Wanchou violated also Canadian law and can be extradited to the United States.</p><p>Ms Meng is facing a hearing 6 Feb 2019 on extradition to the United States for trial.</p>
