Comprehensive Standardized Care for Children with Hemophilia

About The Book

The benefit of comprehensive care is to reduce hospitalization and unemployment rates and as a consequence lower the overall cost of hemophilia (Smith and Levine 2004). Treatment centers are currently funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and by the CDC to provide comprehensive care and preventive services to persons with hemophilia and other bleeding disorders (Baker. 2005 and Di Michele et al. 2014 ).
