Computational Modelling and Applications

About The Book

A computational model is a mathematical model in computational science that requires extensive computational resources to study the behavior of a complex system by computer simulation. The system under study is often a complex nonlinear system for which simple intuitive analytical solutions are not readily available. On the other hand a reversible computing is a model of computing where the computational process to some extent is reversible. In a model of computation that uses deterministic transitions from one state of the abstract machine to another a necessary condition for reversibility is that the relation of the mapping from states to their successors must be one-to-one. Today the field has a substantial body of academic literature behind it. A wide variety of reversible device concepts logic gates electronic circuits processor architectures programming languages and application algorithms have been designed and analyzed by physicists electrical engineers and computer scientists.
