Computer Science for High School

In order to help secondary schools to establish the computer program that Secours de la Femme Rurale au Développement Sfrd in acronym addresses the challenge of lack of manuals that can accompany its materialization. Sfrd through its team is working to- Strengthen the capacity of teachers in computer science and computer didactics;- Provide computer equipment to schools and computer programs;- Elaborate computer science textbooks in accordance with the current program.This work seeks to respond to objective three (3) that of developing and providing secondary schools with textbooks that can help to establish this program.This book presents the following subjects: history of computers; influences of the computer; fields of application of computer science; information concepts; computer systems; manipulation of a microcomputer; decimal and binary numbering systems; operating systems: Windows; Intranet; Internet; notions of security and viruses; fundamental notions of the Basic language; word processing; Excel spreadsheet.
