Sister Wáng Hánxù is nothing short of a legend in her own right. Her opus, a soul cry, emerges as a legend within a legend. Only a life touched by such remarkable events could produce a work of this magnitude. Wang Hanxu, a woman from rural China who didn't even finish middle school, managed to pen this extraordinary book in America while dragging along a frail body that might succumb at any moment.
