During the early days of California's statehood the rumor of gold flowing out of the Sierra Nevada Mountain range lured many settlers into the region from all over the world.Just like the tales of riches created by the newcomers also too were the legends about those who made a name for themselves whether they liked it or not.This story is about a man who was living out his dream when one day his life was shattered by ruthless men who were drawn by hatred and greed. These men killed his pregnant wife and lynched his brother for no reason.With no help from the law Joaquin Murrieta sought to seek justice with the help of his family and friends. He used his skills as a hunter to revenge the death of those he loved and taunted Captain Harry Love who claimed the bounty on Joaquin Murrieta's head. California's were convinced Murrieta was captured and killed but that was just a rumor.
