Conquest

Earth has fallen in a day. Humanity exists as inch-tall prisoners resettled in warehouse-sized habitats. Ludyani wasn't part of acquiring this world. She longs for the thrill of such things but she's nobody in the ranks of the Syndicate. A Shepherd charged with watching over millions of these measly subjugated specks. But nothing stops her from her dreams. A few missing humans help her fantasies feel more real. There's literally millions of them--what's a few dozen more? A few hundred? Her urges grow. Her twisted fantasies deepen. All those little lives mean nothing compared to her desires her need for satisfaction. She needs a challenge. Some unique special individual to test her. A being with talent that will give her something to do something to overcome. She may be nothing special but they are nothing at all. They'll do as she wishes. They'll play her game and give her the thrill she longs for most of all. The thrill of conquest.
