Consequences of social media on Individual���s personality

Personality refers to an individual''s unique pattern of thoughts feelings and behaviors that persist over time and across situations. While there is no universally accepted definition of personality there are several theoretical perspectives that offer different insights into its nature. These perspectives include psychoanalytic theory which emphasizes the role of unconscious thoughts and motivations; trait theory which defines personality as stable and enduring traits influenced by biology; social cognitive theory which focuses on how thoughts and beliefs shape personality; and humanistic theory which highlights personal growth and self-actualization.
