About The Book

Over the last few decades India has witnessed rapid changes in the institutional architecture state capacities public policy as well as the political culture that shapes them. These changes have led to rapid advancements but have also brought to the fore problems of growing inequality marginalisation inadequacy of representation and challenges in the field of health education and social services among others. It is in this context that this book offers a multidisciplinary and nuanced analysis of some of the issues confronting a rapidly changing India seen from the perspective of young researchers of the Department of Political Science S.N.D.T. Women’s University.
