Contraception: Are women denied the right of self-decision?

Error-prone information on family planning and birth control is offered to women by U.S. agencies and research. Women in the U.S. do not receive information as is required by bioethical principles. Rather the principles of informed consent nil nocere and patient autonomy are disregarded in publications dealing with women's issues. In contrast to international research and scholarly publications U.S. research as well as public health agencies are withholding vital data on contraception.
