About The Book

This book is about my last eight years as a pastor in a mainline Christian denominational church and the difficulties that I faced while trying to carry out my duties as a pastor to the congregations that I served. I will attempt to show the difficulties that I felt mainly came from my clergy colleagues and the leadership of these denominations. With the contradiction of being told by the clergy that I was coming into the conference under the radar it was like saying that I was sneaking in through the back door while others came in the correct waythrough the front door. Then there was finding out about the sale of a church building for over a quarter of a million and its investment that was done without proper authorization; the huge unexplained losses; the unwillingness of the clergy leadership to investigate; and not being reappointed after eight years of service and how it affected me and my sick daughter and our complete welfare.
