This book established that most people in Zimbabwe are beneficiaries of protection of traditional knowledge associated with genetic resources. This is because they either belong to a traditional or local community that has traditional knowledge or are individual users. Women were also singled out as the majority of the users and custodians of traditional knowledge. It also established that traditional knowledge contributes financially to many households through its sale.
