The book includes the findings of the research Evaluation of the effectiveness of plant extracts of Ricinus communis (higuerilla) Dysphania ambrosioides (paico) and Ruda graveolens (ruda) in the control of the flower bud fly (Dasiops sp) in passion fruit conducted in the Huanuco-Peru region during the 2018 and 2019 season. The results show that higuerilla had a greater effect on the reduction of adult populations of the pest; the percentage of less damage was recorded in the plots treated with paico and rue extracts; finally in the reduction of the number of larvae of the flower bud fly the efficacy of paico and rue was greater.
