The great black diamond continues to tear the earth asunder and twist the very fabric of reality as it devours what remains. With only a week remaining before the end of the world Jay must travel from Detroit to Michigan's Upper Peninsula to fulfill the promise he made to his late wife: to bury her ashes in her childhood home of Escanaba.
