Core Facies Analysis and Well Log Response Mesaverde Grp Uinta Basin

This book is based on MS in Geology thesis and presents lithofacies facies associations and their well-log responses for the Mesaverde Group (Neslen Farrer and Tuscher Formations) in the southeastern portion of Greater Natural Buttes Field Utah. The analyses were conducted on 1645'' of core from 6 wells. The depositional environment and sequence stratigraphic evolution define the subsurface stratigraphy which records a transition from coastal plain to alluvial plain environments.
