This book mainly focuses on the putative role of trace elements or essential micro-nutrients in oral potential malignant disorders and oral cancer. Altered level of trace elements in both blood and tissue samples of oral leukoplakia and carcinoma is indicative of their contribution in maintenance oral health and also suggestive of their role in etio-pathogenesis of these lesion furthermore it could be helpful in opening new scope for new researches targeting this context.
