Companies in all sectors are constantly looking for new technologies for their production chain in order to increase their efficiency. This material consists of a demonstration of the economic parameters in the Austenitic Stainless Steel Milling Process. As the quest for production efficiency is one of the main targets of any business a much clearer and more explanatory analysis of the mechanisms that determine this ideal situation is necessary. A general analysis is also made of the characteristics of Austenitic Stainless Steel with an emphasis on CN3MN Superaustenitic Stainless Steel; showing specific properties as well as economic advantages over other steels. In order to observe the economic conditions various machining variables are used some of which are totally empirical and others specific to the materials being machined. However the most important unknown is the cutting speed to which all the others relate as it is present in most of the equations. In this way this work highlights all these relationships between economic parameters and cutting speed. Milling serves as a 'background' for the relationships employed.
