Counteraction to Drug Trafficking in the Republic of KAZAKHSTAN

The collective monograph presents materials of legal scholars on topical criminal law and criminal procedural problems of counteracting drug addiction and drug business in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Based on the study of legal literature and regulatory legal acts the problems of qualification of some criminal offenses related to the illegal circulation of narcotic drugs psychotropic substances their analogues and precursors are considered. The article considers the procedural order of investigative actions in cases of criminal offenses related to drug business as well as the peculiarities of covert investigative actions. The forensic medical characteristics of drug addiction are given. The issues related to the organizational and tactical features of the investigation of criminal cases on drugs as well as the use of special knowledge in their investigation are considered.
