Counterfeit drugs are a major public health threat. Consuming counterfeit drugs can have serious consequences for individuals communities and overall global public health.Counterfeit drugs is mostly a problem in developing and low-income countries where most people do not have access to prescription drugs vaccines and medical devices that are readily available in developing countries.Counterfeit drugs often look and taste like the medicines they are pretending to be but they are simply not safe to take.All these issues have been covered under 5 chapters of the book.
