A graduate of 1961. Served Central Government-owned Public Financial Institutions in Power Sector for 30 years. Undergone a short course Vigilance Course organized by the Institute of Secretariat Training & Management. Also undergone a short course in Parliamentary Procedures and Practices organized by the Bureau of Parliamentary Studies & Training. Ten days on the job training in World Bank Washington. Was a Team Member of the World Bank and ADB Project Appraisal Teams. Also was a member of the Loan Negotiation Team of the Government of India for ADB Loan for power projects. Participated in professional seminars workshops conferences symposiums while in service organized by the ICAI ICSI etc. Served as Consultant/Senior Advisor in multinational consultancy organizations for over 17 years post-retirement. Has had intense inter-face interaction with central and state government authorities in charge of power development also with national multinational and bilateral financial institutions. Attained a high level of professionalism with keenness towards the enrichment of knowledge with equal vigor. A specialist in project finance commercial contract electricity regulatory requirements due diligence of equity investment and entity appraisal lenders’ engineer domestic and international projects contracts drafting drafting Non-Disclosure Agreement MOUs and Consortium/Joint Venture Agreements. Humanism in the profession and personal life has been his hallmark. An earnest writer in his professionalism arguing for the best. A keen observer of what is happening in the political economic education and social life of people in the country.
