Crash prediction model

Introduction: shock is a syndrome characterized by generalized tissue hypoperfusion with cellular hypoxia due to low oxygen delivery increased oxygen consumption or inadequate oxygen utilization. This research was conducted with the aim of developing a predictive model of shock in patients admitted to intensive care.Methods: an explanatory research was conducted with a prospective cohort design of a predictive model of shock in 538 patients admitted Intensive Care of the Hospital Clínico Quirúrgico Hermanos Ameijeiras during the period from January 2017 to December 2022.Conclusions: the predictive model was useful for predicting shock in patients admitted to intensive care.
