Craving Crown

<p><strong>CRAVING CROWN</strong> is a collection of poems crafted by a Kenyan poetess; Mukami Kinyua.</p><p>It portrays poetic minds and sentiments of people in diverse surroundings as it deals with: desire betrayal love and identity.</p><p>We all crave for different things in life. Sometimes what we crave for comes on a silver platter other times or rather a times we sweat ourselves out to quench our cravings.</p><p>However what we crave for has consequences it may be negative or positive. The results of our cravings become our crown.</p><p>A range of literary devices have been utilized to creatively deliver the issues addressed and when keenly contemplated on they relate to the perspective of real life situations.</p><p>As you read through the poems various emotions are evoked. Perhaps you will develop a craving for more poetry.</p><p> Always find strength in your heart for inside it lies the strongest part of you. Despite the hurdles we go through in life becoming a person did not happen as an accident. It requires persistence courage strength and resilience to be a better version of ourselves. All we need is to look inside our hearts and draw strength from deep within us eventually we shall wear the crown that we desire.</p>
