Crawling on the Highway

<p class=ql-align-justify>When I came to America I thought that I left my reasons to be afraid back in Lebanon. There was no one to threaten me with punishment if I didn't follow orders to the tee. There was no one to pick me up by my hair and throw me to the floor if I didn't understand something right away. No one to call me dummy; that I didn't deserve to eat; that it was better to give my food to the animals.</p><p class=ql-align-justify><br></p><p class=ql-align-justify>Hopefully after reading this book you will be inspired by my story gain some strength and learn to never give up even in the face of near-death. Hopefully what I overcame to move forward will be an inspiration to others struggling on their life's highway. If I can make it you can too. Never never never give up! </p><p><br></p>
