Creating Dynamic Radar Models for Large-Scale Simulations

The role of simulation has increased during the lastfew years due to an increasing complexity ofcomponents and the rising number of objects involvedin large-scale systems. This book gives anintroduction of utilising the High-Level Architecture(HLA IEEE 1516-2000) to simulate an airborne radarfederate able to detect objects on ground. Itprovides an overview of HLA giving engineers theability to simulate complex systems in large networkswith many simulation participants and introduces acommon scenario to show the abilities of theaircraft-attached radar model.
