Creep Shadow!

The book tells the story of American adventurer and soldier Kenton Stanfield who travels to a remote region of Tibet in search of a fabled lost city. Once there Stanfield discovers that the city is inhabited by a strange and ancient race of beings the descendants of an advanced civilization that once ruled the earth. He also discovers that the city is haunted by a sinister force known as the Creep a shadowy presence that seems to have a malevolent will of its own. As Stanfield explores the city and learns more about its history he becomes increasingly entangled in the conflict between the citys inhabitants and the dark force of the Creep. Along the way he encounters a number of strange and terrifying creatures including giant spiders winged demons and living shadows. Creep Shadow! is a classic example of pulp fiction a genre of popular literature that was popular in the early 20th century. The book is known for its vivid descriptions of exotic locations and strange creatures as well as its blend of horror and adventure. While the book has not been as widely read or studied as some other works of fantasy and horror it remains an entertaining and influential work in the genre.
