What I loved is that Dennis doesn't just write a monster story. He writes a story about people under pressure - a husband and wife trying to protect their kids hold their marriage together and survive a situation nobody could have prepared for. It felt real. The kind of real that keeps you reading at midnight when you swore you'd stop two chapters ago. If you like thrillers with a sci-fi twist and characters you genuinely root for this one delivers.
