N. Srinivasan and Lalit Kumar Modi changed the face of global cricket. They rewrote the rules of the game. Both used ungentlemanly tactics and strategies to achieve their key objective: to dominate and manipulate BCCI and ICC (International Cricket Council) and through them world cricket. Both were ambitious egoistic ruthless as well as visionary patient and networkers. India’s rising commercial clout—it contributed 70-80% of ICC’s revenues—became the major plank that enabled Srinivasan and Modi to dictate to and pressurize the other cricket boards.
