Critical Analysis of the Relationship between the ICC and UNSC

After the end of the two World Wars two important and crucial issues were the main concerns of the whole international community. The first issue was the maintenance of international peace and security which represents the major function of the Security Council. The second matter was to put an end to the most egregious crimes that ever human beings have ever experienced which is currently and primarily the main responsibility of the ICC. In fact many attempts have been made by the UN to take an effective step towards creating a permanent international criminal tribunal.
