A critique was made of the program of the General Pedagogical Training discipline corresponding to the curriculum of the Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education. The research process was based on the qualitative methodology and the technique of documentary review of the manuscripts that govern the teaching-learning process of this discipline was used. The results of the research showed the relevance of the program as it comprises a set of knowledge skills and modes of action of inestimable value for the performance of the new generations of Early Childhood Education professionals.
