Critique of Modernity and Man as a Subject of History

In Gianni Vattimo he discusses the crisis of modernity that denounces the crisis of humanism falling into nihilism and proposes postmodernity as a chance to create the new ideal of man.From the contribution of the two authors he seeks to explain the situation of man today living with the proliferation of autocratic/totalitarian regimes and growing secularization without returning to the past as such but bringing out the values that have been overshadowed by modernity where the hope for the future lies.
