The book you are holding in your hands is a dramatization of one of Plato's most widely read Socratic dialogues. After the Apology of Socrates published in this same collection we thought it necessary to adapt this work since it is its continuation. In this dialogue and after Socrates' trial and condemnation to death narrated in the Apology of Socrates his friend Crito maintains the hope of the old philosopher's salvation and makes him a proposal.
