Crop livestock and forest integration

The Crop Livestock and Forest Integration system is a good alternative technology for improvements in the agricultural sector. The present study presents the characterisation of livestock in the municipality of Mesópolis/SP and the objective of disseminating the silvipastoral system. The data were obtained through interviews with producers in visits to properties with dairy cattle and beef cattle. Fifty (50) producers were interviewed where they described characteristics of their properties and production areas. It was found favourable characteristics for the implementation of the silvopastoral system and interest of livestock producers.
