Crystal Saga Series 4 3-The New Order and 4-Adapting to Change

My name is Candace. I am one of the four first-born children of Queen Tamara and Commander Sean. When the order of succession was established I was named Queen-Designate and I have served in that role several times when my mother was deemed unavailable. My world has just been turned upside down. Since my mother has been such an exemplary Queen and is still in good health I expected that I would not be called upon to become Queen for a long time. However that proved to be a false assumption. Apparently the Creator Being's Grand Design calls for the retirement of the two present Super Beings and the appointment of two new ones. My name is Terra. I am the Head Watcher and liaison to the planet Akura during the establishment of the New Order. I work closely with the Creator Being. I am wed to Trident the Marinean Ambassador to the kingdom of Alteria and former Prince-then King-of Marinea. I am also the mother of Tamara (now Queen Emerita) and Trina (who works in the Academy). This is a very difficult time for the residents of our planet Akura. The cosmology that everyone grew up learning featured Super Beings who lived in the Crystal Castle and had progeny through the ages. However they were very self-absorbed and also caused various conflicts. The Creator Being having recognized how the universe was changing decided to retire them and now they live in a separate wing of the Crystal Castle.
