About the Author: ‘Cup of noir with a spoonful of words’ is a book that includes poems and stories written by Samriddhi and Samiya. They are sisters born and brought up in New Delhi India. They are students of Delhi Public School R. K. Puram. Samiya is a student of class XII and Samriddhi is a student of class VIII. This book is very close to their hearts. Its theme is mostly about how the real world works how we can be happy but inside deep down we still feel sad. It tells us that it’s okay to not be perfect all the time. It helps us realize that sometimes you can’t talk to people. Sometimes you can’t communicate. So all you need to do is find out how to voice your opinions your thoughts and your words. Samriddhi voices her thoughts through theatre writing poems alongside composing and singing songs. Samiya voices her thoughts through writing doing sudoku and dancing.
