Curricular Sustainability in Higher Education in Puerto Rico

The inclusion of curricular sustainability in education is fair and necessary and is aimed at universities educational organizations and the teaching profession. This study focuses specifically on the field of nursing science. The purpose of this research is to establish the inclusion of curricular sustainability in higher education in Puerto Rico and to measure knowledge about curricular sustainability in nursing teachers. The theoretical framework is based on the Theory of Sustainable Development where three research questions are posed and the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
