Why I wrote Curve Ball. I wrote Curve Ball because I want to getout a message. That message is abuse is not okay and tell someone.When I was in my abusive relationship I felt very alone like I hadno one to talk to or confide in. That?s a very lonely and isolatedplace. I felt like a victim in my own home. Although my abuse onlylasted for four months it felt like a lifetime. I really believethat God allowed me to go through this tough experience to helpothers. This book was very difficult and painful for me to writebut I was determined to tell my story. My story is only one ofthousands. Perhaps your story is worse than mines. Neverthelessyou can get out and you can overcome. No one has to be a victimbut you can be VICTORIOUS. Sometimes as women we stay inrelationships out of fear and low self esteem. When we began toreally love ourselves and to understand that its wrong and it?s notokay for anyone to verbally emotionally physically or sexuallyabuse us than we become in control. Then we take our power backthen we begin to love ourselves. God Bless
