However today any adversary with sufficient capability can exploit vulnerabilities in the United States' critical network infrastructures using cyber warfare and leverage physical attacks to significantly impact the lives of its citizens and erode their confidence in its ability to protect their way of life. <br><br>This AY-10 student research paper provides information to assist senior leaders working to prevent or to minimize the effects of future cyber attacks by a nation state or non-state actor against the United States' critical network infrastructures.</p><p>This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it.
