About The Book

The book analyzes in greater length cyberspace and its role as the domain where electronic electoral transactions take place. By using U.S.A 2016 Presidential Elections and Kenya 2017 General Elections as use cases the book criticizes the concept democracy in the digital era; and most specifically the sanctity of vote and the concept of free will in the face of electoral technologies. The book discusses some of the cyber intrusion incidents into electoral infrastructures and their net effect. It concludes by giving recommendations on how cyberspace can be made legally more secure and effective in safeguarding the integrity of the ballot and the will of the people.
