They knew that cycling around the world was never going to be an easy challenge but there was no harm in trying to make it just a little less complicated. A shame that neither of them thought to do so. Join Daren and Tatjana on an eight thousand mile bicycle ride from a sodden English summer to the wind swept shores of New Zealand. Journey through the turbulent political setting of West Africa where they team up with an unlikely duo to cross the vast empty expanse of Western Sahara and into the Sahel where banditry be-headings and military coups plague the landscape. Then into South America where favela kids rule and the long road south brought them closer each day to abandoning the trip selling their bikes and heading to the nearest bar. Surely then they could argue in peace.
