Cystic lymphangiomas also called lymphatic malformations result from abnormalities of lymphatic development and are considered a rare pathology. The therapeutic management was for a long time limited to surgical treatment alone currently the development of other therapeutic methods and in particular sclerotherapy has significantly improved this management. The aim of our work is to develop an algorithm for the management of cystic lymphatic malformations in children in the department of pediatric surgery at the University Hospital of Setif while integrating abstention-surveillance and sclerotherapy in the therapeutic component. This is a prospective descriptive monocentric study of 70 patients with 75 cystic lymphatic malformations treated at the pediatric surgery department of Setif over a period of 5 years. The average age of the patients was 39.46 months 36% of the patients were diagnosed at birth 64% before the age of 2 years and 10% had an antenatal diagnosis. The sex ratio was 1.33.Abdominal location accounted for 32%.76% of lymphatic malformations in this series were macro.
