Dairy cattle farming in Brazil

This book begins by describing the socioeconomic aspects that characterize the activity in Brazil. It continues addressing factors relating to dairy cow production and reproduction. It then discusses which breeds and crossbreeds are most suitable for milk production in the tropical climate of the country. Also in the sequence are presented the main advances in terms of nutrition and feeding of dairy cows and finally in the last chapter presents research results on modeling the requirements of dairy cows with the methodology of response surface.
