Dalit Empowerment in India

Over a period of time the Dalits remained without significant benefits out of the provisions and the worst sufferers remained in the rural areas in India. This book deals with the various issues in empowerment of Dalits. These issues are social cultural economic educational political religious etc. which act as constraints of empowerment of Dalits. Unless and until these issues are addressed thoroughly through an empirical investigation it is not possible to empower the Dalits given all these constraints. This book addresses these issues with a focus on social structure and various constraints blocking the empowerment of Dalits.
