Ecologist, environnmentalist, numismatist, photographer, heritage activist and researcher in ancient Indian Sciences. A regular trekker in the Himalayas, the author has researched into the source, and the palaeo flow course through Rajshtan desert of the lost river Saraswat of which he has made a full fledged, scientifically researched film. A social activist keen on conservation of the mangrove forest and declogging the Mithi River system in Mumbai, he has pursued a legal effort in the court of law. He had earlier battled for restoration of the 1200 years old historic Banganga at native Walkeshwar in Mumbai and successfully got it declared a protected heritage site.
