<p><em>Dark Interlude</em> centers on a shattered intelligence operative posing as a washed-up mechanic on the Brittany coast drinking himself into irrelevance-until a woman tied to his covert past reactivates him for one final mission. Beneath the sunlit stillness of the French countryside a covert war continues and ghosts of old operations still kill.</p><p>As betrayal circles in from all sides a/pnd paranoia eats away at the edges of his mind he must decide whether the spark of his former self is enough to face what's coming-or whether the drink the lies and the shadows will finally claim him for good. </p>
